Special-Only Pals: The Complete Picture
What special only means
A special-only Pal is excluded from the ordinary formula pool, so the Breeding Power average can never produce it. It appears only through a listed special combo, or by breeding two of the same Pal. The dataset marks these Pals, and the Pal Detail view shows the mark for each one.
How to check any Pal
Search the Pal in All Pals or Pal Detail. If it says special only, open its detail view: the special combos listed there are its real routes, and if none are listed, same-species breeding is the route — which means catching one first.
Planning a collection
For a collection of special-only Pals, the efficient order is: catch what you can, breed same-species pairs for more of those, and complete special combos for the rest. Random farm pairs in between waste Cake that could go to a combo you have already verified in the Special Combos tab.
