Palworld Online (Garena): What We Know
What it is
Palworld Online is a mobile MMO based on Palworld, developed by Garena under an official license from Pocketpair, the maker of Palworld. It was announced on August 3, 2026. It is not a phone port of the PC and console game: Garena is rebuilding the Palworld loop for mobile, as a persistent online world with cooperative play built in from the start.
Platforms and release date
The game is planned for iOS and Android only. Garena has stated a 2026 launch target, but no exact release date has been confirmed. As of the August 2026 announcement coverage, there was no public beta and no pre-registration page. Any site giving you an exact day for this game is guessing — the honest status is: announced, in development, targeting 2026.
What gameplay has been described
Garena has described a seamless open world where players explore, capture and raise Pals, build shared bases that grow with a group, and progress together. Controls are being adapted for phones, with touch-friendly controls and optional one-tap controls, so the game is meant to work across a range of phones, not only flagships.
How it differs from Krafton's Palworld Mobile
This is the part most players mix up. There are two separate mobile Palworld games from two different publishers. Garena's Palworld Online is the MMO announced in August 2026. Krafton's Palworld Mobile is a separate adaptation that has been in closed alpha testing in Japan and South Korea. They are not the same game, and a release date for one does not apply to the other. What this means for breeding — read this before using a calculator
Palspair's calculator is built on the Palworld 1.0 dataset for PC and console. Garena has not confirmed that Palworld Online will use the same breeding formula, Breeding Power values, or special combos. Until the mobile game launches and its breeding is verified, do not assume a pair from this calculator will give the same child in Palworld Online. We will update this guide when the breeding system is confirmed.
Beware of fake downloads
With no public beta or pre-registration page announced, any APK or download claiming to be Palworld Online should be treated as unsafe. Wait for Garena's or Pocketpair's official channels before installing anything.
