Gender-Dependent Breeding: Katress + Wixen
The pair
Katress + Wixen is the only pair in the 1.0 dataset where gender changes the result. A female Katress with a male Wixen produces Katress Ignis. A male Katress with a female Wixen produces Wixen Noct. Every other pair in the dataset gives the same child regardless of gender.
In the calculator
When you enter Katress and Wixen as parents, the calculator lets you pick genders. Pick them and you get one child; leave them blank and it shows both children, so you can plan for whichever one you want. The target view counts this pair for both Katress Ignis and Wixen Noct.
Planning around it
If you want Katress Ignis, you need a female Katress and a male Wixen in the farm. If you want Wixen Noct, you need the reverse. Catching the right genders first saves Cake — breeding the wrong combination gives you the other child, not a failed egg.
